Accessibility in the platform

Our commitments

At Skoolie, we strive to make our study and career guidance system accessible to all users, regardless of ability or technical equipment. We work continuously to improve the usability and accessibility of our platform for students, guidance counsellors and other users.

Standards and guidelines

We work to ensure that Skoolie meets the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. We also follow Swedish legislation on digital accessibility for the public sector (the DOS Act).

Accessibility features

Skoolie includes the following accessibility features:

  • Keyboard navigation for all features
  • Compatibility with screen readers and assistive technologies
  • Responsive design for different devices
  • Clear labels and error messages
  • Alternative text for images

Known limitations

We work continuously on improvements, but some limitations may occur:

  • Some text may be perceived as having a small font size
  • Some icons may lack alternative text
  • Some text may be flagged by evaluation tools as having insufficient contrast

We prioritise and address accessibility issues based on their impact on the user experience.

Escalation process

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Swedish Agency for Digital Government (DIGG), which is responsible for supervising compliance with accessibility requirements in Sweden. However, we encourage you to contact us directly first.
