For the labour market administration
A digital labour market initiative and career guidance for all adult residents of the municipality

For residents
All adult residents of the municipality get access to a portal where they can freely search Sweden's largest combined range of education programmes and jobs — Komvux (municipal adult education), higher vocational education (YH), folk high school, university, labour market training programmes and directly linked job listings. Anyone considering a change of direction, supplementing their grades or finding their first job can describe their interests in free text and receive accurate, relevant suggestions from Skoolie's AI-supported guidance. Residents can instantly see what an occupation means in terms of salary, demand and future prospects, which eligibility requirements apply, and how their own grades compare with current admission statistics. With the graduation planner, residents can explore different study pathways on their own and begin sketching out what may later become an individual study plan. The built-in CV builder automatically formats a professional CV with export to PDF, ready to send to employers. Appointments with the municipality's guidance counsellors can be booked directly in the platform.
For staff
For guidance counsellors and labour market caseworkers, Skoolie changes the conditions for every meeting. Instead of starting with basic information transfer, you meet a resident who has already explored their options, has a graduation proposal and comes with concrete questions. The meeting can be devoted to what requires human judgement: decision support, validation and in-depth guidance. The staff view brings together the resident's grades, goals, interests, saved favourites, CV and documentation in one clear picture — and you can prepare for the meeting based on the groundwork the resident has already done. The AI only ever provides supporting material; assessment and decisions always rest with a qualified counsellor or caseworker.
For the administration
Skoolie is a scalable digital labour market initiative with no cap on the number of places. The platform complements the in-person services delivered by the administration and other providers, and works equally well as a first step in the mapping phase or as reinforcement for method-based interventions such as IPS and Supported Employment. The administration gains a real-time overview of usage and results: completed education and career planning sessions, graduation plans and CVs created, guidance meetings booked, and application volume for the municipality's own vocational programmes.

Support for the activity requirement
Since July 2025, recipients of income support are required to take part in active measures. Skoolie serves as a digital, motivation-building and job-seeking activity within the framework of the activity requirement — available around the clock, with no capacity limits.
The platform generates structured activity documentation that can serve as a basis for follow-up: logins and activity, completed planning sessions, graduation plans and CVs created, and meetings booked. Without a structured digital tool, guidance risks becoming a bottleneck — with Skoolie, capacity increases.

Fill your training places
Many municipalities struggle to fill the places on their vocational programmes. Skoolie exposes residents to vocational programmes they rarely find on their own and shows the direct connection to the labour market, salaries, occupational forecasts and admission requirements.
As more residents discover the pathways to in-demand occupations, application volume for the municipality's own programmes increases, and the planning of education provision better matches labour market demand.

A platform tailored to your needs
Skoolie has been developed together with guidance counsellors, caseworkers and participants from across Sweden, and is used today in live municipal operations. In close collaboration with our users, we continue to develop the platform and create the tools of the future for municipal labour market initiatives — from initial groundwork to self-sufficiency.
