Skoolie in Teknikcollege Stockholm's local steering group for Huddinge

Skoolie is part of the local steering group for Teknikcollege Stockholm in Huddinge municipality - a collaboration we are proud of and one that sits close to the heart of what we work with every day.

What is Teknikcollege?

Teknikcollege is Sweden's largest collaboration platform for industry's skills supply and a quality mark for programmes where municipalities, education providers and companies work together to raise the attractiveness and quality of technically oriented education. The national association Teknikcollege Sverige is a collaboration aimed at raising the status and quality of industry-relevant education - and today there are 24 regional Teknikcollege across the country.

Put simply: Teknikcollege is the bridge between school and working life. When companies, municipalities and education providers collaborate, education is matched with the needs of working life, with the shared goal of helping industry grow through a skilled workforce built on quality-assured education.

Why is Skoolie involved?

A recurring theme in the steering group is that young people need equal opportunities, early on, to understand the possibilities of the labour market. When schooling is placed in a wider context, motivation grows and students discover paths they might never have considered.

That is exactly what Skoolie is built for. By giving guidance counsellors and students a unified digital support for exploring education, occupations and future choices, we help make that connection concrete - already during the upper secondary years.
