Skoolie wins SKAPA Talang 2025 on Gotland – advances to the national final on 13 November
Skoolie has been named county winner of SKAPA Talang 2025 on Gotland and advances to the national final in Stockholm on 13 November 2025. The prize recognises young innovators who create solutions with commercial and societal potential.
“This prize is proof of the societal impact we create when students get simple, accessible information ahead of their study and career choices.” — Rasmus Häggkvist, co-founder and Head of Marketing, Skoolie.
What is SKAPA Talang?
The SKAPA Foundation runs Sweden's largest innovation prize. The competition is first decided regionally and then concludes nationally at an innovation gala in November. SKAPA Talang is aimed at innovators up to the age of 30.
Why Skoolie is being recognised
Skoolie is an AI-driven platform for study and career guidance that helps students and adult learners find courses and programmes and understand pathways to work. At the same time, guidance counsellors and education providers gain data-driven insights. The platform gathers information about education programmes, eligibility requirements, admission statistics and labour market data in a single solution.
Through integrated job insights and matching against current job listings, users can see how their skills, grades and goals connect to available jobs in order to plan their future.
The impact for students, guidance counsellors and schools
- Easier everyday guidance: an AI-powered chat that answers questions about programmes, schools, eligibility and admission scores – directly in the platform.
- Find programmes faster: smart search that matches the student's profile with relevant programmes across upper secondary school, higher vocational education (YH), university and adult education.
- Personalised job discovery: links to labour market data and job listings bring study choices closer to working life.
Thank you
A warm thank-you to the SKAPA Foundation and Almi for the award. We look forward to representing Gotland in the national final at Tekniska museet on 13 November.
