Skoolie takes a podium place in SKAPA Talang 2025 – gains national recognition for data-driven study guidance

Skoolie has been awarded third prize in the national final of SKAPA Talang 2025, Sweden's largest innovation competition for young entrepreneurs. After winning the regional competition on Gotland earlier this autumn, it is now clear that Skoolie also ranks among the best nationally: a recognition of both the need we are addressing and the solution we are building.

The jury particularly highlights Skoolie's ability to connect students' circumstances, questions and preferences with relevant programmes and professions based on structured data from multiple sources. The platform is described as “an interactive system with search engines that makes choosing an education more accessible and efficient for both students and guidance counsellors.”

Why Skoolie is being recognised nationally

Skoolie has developed a data-driven platform for study and career guidance that helps students and adult learners make well-informed decisions about education and future work. The jury's statement highlights three areas:

Comprehensive, relevant information: the platform draws in data from education registers, labour market statistics and other sources.
The student's own process in focus: all information is saved in a personal folder to support guidance conversations and upcoming choices.
Decision support for the whole school: guidance counsellors and education providers get a unified tool that makes guidance work more efficient and more accurate.

The third prize brings national attention as well as a prize sum of SEK 50,000, along with networks and support that will help Skoolie continue to scale its solution.
